A comfortable desk setup is mostly about position and connections: the screen at the right height, a keyboard and mouse that suit how you work, and one place to plug everything in. This guide uses published ergonomic guidance and manufacturer specifications.
Screen height and distance
The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) advises that the top of the monitor should be at or slightly below eye level, with the centre of the screen about 15–20 degrees below your eyes, and a viewing distance of roughly 20–40 inches (50–100 cm). On a laptop, the screen usually sits too low, which is what a laptop stand addresses.
The Twelve South Curve Flex lifts the screen to a height of up to 22 inches, by Twelve South’s figure, and folds flat to 30 mm. If you raise the laptop, you will want a separate keyboard and mouse.
Keyboard and mouse: one set for several devices
Logitech’s MX Keys S keyboard and MX Master 3S mouse connect over Bluetooth or a Logi Bolt receiver, and each can pair with up to three devices, switching with the Easy-Switch button. Note that the MX Master 3S Bluetooth Edition we list connects over Bluetooth only and comes without a receiver.

One cable to the laptop
A USB-C hub lets one port provide power, a monitor and extra USB ports. The Anker 341 USB-C Hub passes up to 85W to the laptop from a 100W charger (the hub uses 15W), and adds HDMI (up to 4K at 30Hz), two USB-A ports and card readers. HDMI only works if your laptop’s USB-C port supports video (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
Power the hub with a charger that has enough output for your laptop; see how to choose a charger.
Order of priorities: screen height first, then input devices, then cable management.
